The FinTech Innovation Lab is a highly competitive 12-week program that helps early to growth stage startups refine and test their value proposition with the support of the world’s leading financial service firms.

Selected companies receive:

  • Mentoring from leading firms and VCs, as well as the Lab’s Entrepreneurs Network and Industry Advisors.
  • Insights from senior figures and user groups in the financial sector – covering product feedback and potential deployment of proofs-of-concept.
  • Weekly workshops and panel discussions on wide ranging topics from procurement and technology architecture to bank regulation and industry trends.

The program culminates in a Demo Day where companies showcase their technology to financial service executives, investors and journalists.

Are you eligible to participate?

The FinTech Innovation Lab Asia-Pacific is open to all companies, regardless of size, provided you can tick the following boxes:

  • You’re not already an established or well-known technology business in financial services
  • You have a minimum alpha or beta product to demonstrate and are prepared to share access to program partners under NDA (and where reasonable, for no additional cost)
  • Your senior team can commit to being based in Hong Kong throughout the 12-week program
  • You can show that access to senior-level executives in the financial services firms will have a meaningful impact on your growth prospects
  • You can arrange work permits or visas if your employees are based outside Hong Kong
